Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9 by 5-inch loaf pan.
In a sauté pan over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Add the onions and garlic and cook, stirring, for 4 to 5 minutes, until tender. Add the apple and thyme and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside.
In a large bowl, use your hands to mix together the turkey, parsley, cream, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, eggs, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, and apple mixture.
Pack into a loaf pan, brush the barbecue sauce over the top, and bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until the internal temperature reads 165°F on an instant-read thermometer. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
