It was a surprise, and a moment that caused our team to choke up. At Manchester Community College’s recent food and wine fundraiser, it was announced that Faith and Senior Contributor Chris Prosperi will each have student scholarships named for them in the school’s highly-rated culinary program.
“We were floored,” says Faith, host of the Faith Middleton Food Schmooze® on WNPR. “After meeting culinary school students and eating their food at the event, Chris and I couldn’t root for them more or be more honored.”
Faith and Chris were co-hosts of MCC’s 25th Anniversary Evening of Fine Wines, which is well-attended and raises funds for student scholarships as well as up-to-date equipment for students to train on while preparing for a wide variety of careers. A large group of state wine distributors volunteered to pour the best of their portfolios for attendees. Senior Producer Robyn Doyon-Aitken and Senior Contributor Mark Raymond also participated in the event.
