Among the Best Handmade Chocolates in Connecticut

Thorncrest Farm Chocolates
Thorncrest Farm Chocolates

Something extraordinary is going on at Thorncrest Farm in Goshen, Connecticut. Clint and Kimberly Thorn raise a special breed of cattle, treat them lovingly, and the milk these cows produce is staggeringly good. That milk is used by Kimberly to handcraft chocolates in a variety of flavors. Kimberly is so particular that she selects an individual cow’s milk to precisely match the ingredients in the chocolate. In addition — and this is rarely done — Kimberly personally grinds her own carefully selected cocoa beans. (She also grinds her own peanuts to make peanut butter truffles.) You might be driving down a dirt road to get to the farm, but it will be well worth the trip.

Thorncrest chocolates are crazy-good! (Be sure to check out their yogurt and cheese, too.)
