Can of Chickpeas? Make Your Own Blender Hummus in 5 Minutes

As a fan of Indian flavors, I like to roam the aisles at Trader Joe’s (or anywhere) for jars of Indian sauces. Joe’s has a terrific and affordable one called Masala Simmer Sauce. I dump it in a blender with a can or two of rinsed chickpeas. Whiz on high and you’re all set. You could had hot pepper if you like heat, but I don’t. It makes a good hummus for crackers, or as a dip for fresh vegetables. — FM
