Celebrate the First LGBTQ Landmark Site in Connecticut

From Faith — Classic rock, classic cars and throwback cocktails are planned Sat. Sept. 23, to celebrate the first historic site reflecting LGBTQ history in Connecticut. The 50-acre Palmer-Warner property in East Haddam features an 18th century building that was home to preservation architect Frederick Palmer and his life partner Howard Metzger, from 1945 to 1971. It is preserved just as it always was in their lifetimes.

Connecticut Landmarks is raising funds through its event to create a Visitor Center on the property.

Tickets are available at Eventbrite or visit Connecticut Landmark’s website for event details.
