Château Vieux Poirier (Bordeaux)

Vieux Poirier Bordeaux

Come on, one last grilled steak, and we have a rare, smooth Bordeaux to cozy up to while the beef sizzles. Open it, pour it in your glass, and have a tiny sip. Tight, right? Sip again in 15 minutes and it’s singing to you. Also, hard to find a sturdy yet smooth Bordeaux at about $20. This is a bargain. Taste blackberries and plums? Perfect with a tasty steak, no kidding.

Be sure to call your wine store ahead and read them (and spell!) the label. To make ordering super-easy, let the staff know the distributor is Winebow. (Thanks, Alex Province.)
