Cocktail: Chartreuse Hot Chocolate

While we were cruising around for grownup hot chocolate drinks, I stumbled on a great recipe from Frederick Wildman & Sons, the importers of Chartreuse, a secret concoction of alcohol, cloves, angelica, fennel, hyssop, pine etc. (From France, Chartreuse comes in green or yellow, each with a slightly different flavor profile.) If you buy a bottle, have no fear, you’ll use it up making creative cocktails. You can find a million online. Start with this one:

Make a pot of real hot chocolate, and to each mug add 1 oz. of Green Chartreuse. Stir, That’s it! Pretty fabulous sitting by the fire, or watching a classic movie. — FM
