How to Doctor Microwave Popcorn

Yes, it is possible to be so busy or tired we don’t have time to make popcorn from scratch… so we doctor it. Faith likes Paul Newman’s Original microwave popcorn, and after it’s popped, she empties half the bag in a large bowl and tosses in all sorts of things, such as grated parmesan; truffle oil and salt; curry powder; or melted chocolate and salt. After the second half of the bag is dumped on top, she adds more of the ingredients she’s chosen, then stirs the whole bowl to integrate what’s she’s added. Feel free to use your imagination; just open the spice drawer and see what sparks joy…
