Here’s your weeknight table wine, the 2013 red Campo Reale from Sicily. The color is deep ruby and the grapes, Nero d’Avola, are allowed to achieve full ripeness in late September, giving this wine structure and cherry notes. It’s real and it’s darned good at this price.
