From Faith: Italy’s award-winning producer, Benedetto Baracchi of Cortona will personally host a wine dinner July 8 at Grill 37 in Pomfret, Conn.
The Baracchi family owns highly recognized hotels and restaurants in Northern Italy. Eight Baracchi wines are now sold throughout Connecticut, ranging in price from $22 to $59. (The local distributor is Cellar Fine Wines.)
To sample the various styles of the wines, Mr. Baracchi is also hosting a free wine tasting in Old Saybrook July 11th from 2 to 5 p.m. at Seaside Wine & Spirits.
