You can taste the Italian countryside in this bubbly beauty, quite a bargain at $14. Lamberti makes this prosecco at its vineyard on the edge of Lake Garda, where they use a double fermentation technique to pop the flavor in the grapes. It’s dry, with aromas of peach lurking in the background. In the summer, I say it goes with everything, including sandwiches at the beach.
Call your wine store to see if it’s on the shelf, and tell them the distributor is Frederick Wildman & Sons. They should have it for you in 24 hours.
