The Lip-Smacking Baron de Ley Goes with Everything

Baron de LeyPut a Spanish reserve rioja, bursting with life, in French and American oak barrels for two years, and this gem of a wine is what you get. Baron de Lay Reserva Rioja, 2010 or 2011, goes with everything—chicken, salmon, crab cakes, red sauce, pork roast, turkey, swordfish; it’s silky on the palate and makes a great little sipper for a romantic night. This vineyard uses its own hand-harvested grapes, 100% tempranillo, all rioja, adds nothing harmful, but under their careful watch, especially with barrel aging, this beautiful red is the end result.

I recommend it for a host gift, a special occasion, a birthday present, and more. I simply love it. Cheers! (Tell your wine store the distributor is Brescome Barton. If it’s not on the shelf, a good wine store will arrange to get it for you within 24 hours. Feel free to call ahead to check.)
