The Perfect Holiday Present for the Grill-Lover

GrillGrate
GrillGrate

Anyone who likes to grill knows how difficult it can be to reduce flare-ups when you’re grilling chicken, duck, beef or lamb. As soon as flames detect fat in the meat, they  flare and cause burning; that’s why dried-out meat arrives at the table. That’s also why so many grill fans are talking about the GrillGrate. It sits right on top of your existing grate and looks like a series of raised railroad tracks. The key is that there are holes in the bottom of GrillGrate so flames can’t damage your meat, yet the food has those lovely seared grill marks thanks to the heat on the raised rails. It’s an ingenious design. You might need two interlocking panels if you have a decent sized grill. A metal brush is all you need to clean it up. Due to its “anodized” surface, the more you use GrillGrate the more it seems to develop a stick-resistant sheen, the way cast iron does. It’s made in the USA! –FM

The price seems to range from $35 to $50.
