The Perfect Thanksgiving Rosé Wine, $20

Elegant, dry, floral, structured… it’s a winner as a host gift or as a Thanksgiving wine. The 2013 Chinon by Rene Couly in the Loire valley of France is made with ripe Cabernet Franc grapes, and is a bargain at $20 per bottle. If you’d like to order it, call ahead to your wine store and tell them the distributor is Winebow; they should have it to you within 24 hours. (Believe it or not, we drank our bottle with Chris Prosperi’s short ribs—that’s not supposed to work—but it stood right up at attention opposite the beef. It was beautiful. Turkey? Fantastique.)
