Smearing roasted garlic onto a toasted baguette or baked potato or adding it to your salad dressing are all wonderful ways to create delicious flavor. Here’s a quick way to roast garlic, thanks to Mark Bittman. Break a garlic head into individual cloves, but don’t peel them. Spread the garlic on a baking sheet, sprinkle it with salt and drizzle with olive oil. Bake the garlic until the cloves tender, about 30 minutes in a 375° oven. Then, toss that roasted garlic with popcorn or add it to hamburger meat for meatloaf.
