Whether you choose vodka or gin for one of my all-time favorite cocktails, one sip of this martini will tell you why it’s joy in a glass. Could it be easier to make? We don’t think so! Shake it icy cold – that’s the key to making a perfect gimlet.

A tip from Faith: Rinse your martini glasses, and place them in the freezer while you make this drink. It's optional, of course, but that's what Faith does. Also, this recipe scales up easily, so double the amounts if you're making two.

Ingredients
  • 2 oz. gin or vodka
  • 1 oz. Rose's Lime Juice
  • ice
  • 1 lime
Servings: drink
Instructions
  1. In a cocktail shaker or jar with a lid filled with ice, add 2 oz. of gin or vodka, and 1 oz. of Rose's Lime Juice. Shake the drink until it's too cold to hold.
  2. Remove your martini glasses from the freezer (if you've done this part) and strain the gimlet into the glasses. Cut a thin slice of lime skin over the glass and twist the strip over the drink so it sprays the surface with its essential oils. Toss in the strip for garnish. Enjoy!
