This is one of my favorite cocktails to enjoy all summer long. It’s refreshing and couldn’t be easier to make.
Buzz up watermelon chunks in a blender. Get your favorite tequila, lime, and club soda. That’s it! The recipe here serves two but feel free to scale it up to work for as many people as you like, or turn it into a punch. Now, put your feet up and enjoy.

As a non-alcohol Concummer but one with an adventurous taste I always like to know how to make interesting drinks i read about alcohol/free. What would you sub for tequila in this? —if you care to reply.
Also, when posting drink recipes make it a practice to offer a non-alcohol version.
I am not gifted with knowing what ingredients to pair with what to make it interesting so I rely on people like you and your colleagues to give ideas.

Hi Ann. If you don’t see alternatives for ingredients, it’s because we haven’t tried the recipe that way, but any time you see a cocktail recipe on this site, you should feel free to make that drink without the alcohol. Taste it, and adjust. Especially if the spirit has a neutral flavor, like vodka for example, the flavor difference will be negligible. You are free to experiment. Cocktails (and non-alcohol drinks) easily bend to your preference. More of one thing, less of another, extra citrus, more than a splash of soda—it’s whatever you like. If the spirit does not have a neutral flavor, like tequila, bourbon or gin, you can use this handy chart to approximate the flavor of the spirit with various syrups, extracts, juices, nectars, and herbs.
