Spanish Coke

From Alex Province: As a Spanish-American who travels to Spain frequently, I pay close attention to trends in food, wine and cocktails, where primary, healthful ingredients are prized. In this case, though, like other places in Europe, wine and spirits are commonly mixed with a variety of commercial sodas. They’re surprisingly good. I serve this cocktail of red wine and Coke at home in Hartford, explaining to my guests that its exotic-sounding name is Kalimotxo.
