To make a juicy classic burger my way, buy 30 percent fat beef, or when mixing the lower fat version, fold in 3 tablespoons of good extra virgin olive oil. At your local cheese store buy truffle cheese. Be sure to salt the meat well when mixing, and don’t be afraid to put a generous portion of truffle cheese on the meat just before removing The burgers from the grill. — FM

  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
  • 4 slices truffle cheese

  1. Mix hamburger with olive oil. Grill and place cheese on the top.
