Another Good Red Wine for Thanksgiving

From Faith — We just received word that the whole cluster Pinot Noir we recommended for Thanksgiving and is from Oregon is now sold out everywhere. Last night I tried a terrific Italian red that will go well with turkey and trimmings. It’s priced anywhere from $15 to $20, and it’s called Solane Santi Valpolicella Ripasso, 2011. It’s fermented a second time on partially dried whole grapes to soften the tannins. That means you can taste fruit, yet it’s full-bodied. Tell your wine store the distributor is Frederick Wildman and Sons. Enjoy!
