If we could eat watermelon all year we’d do it in a second. This smart little recipe calls for watermelon juice, which you can buy, though we say make your own. Throw a few pieces of fresh watermelon into the blender and buzz for a few seconds. Done. Again, we prefer the real juice in a drink as opposed to a chemically-flavored spirit unless we know they use the real thing to make it. To make your own watermelon spirit, add the fruit chunks to the spirit and let it sit for a few days, then strain it back into the original bottle.
