Just back from Key West, and I’m so crazy for Key Lime pie, I decided to make a drinkable “cocktail” version of it. Matt learned how to make Morir Soñando while studying abroad in the Dominican Republic— basically an icy milk and lime juice beverage, so I knew it could be done!

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. condensed milk
- 3 shots milk
- 2 tbsp. lime juice (real Key Limes, if you can get them but regular Peruvian work just fine)
- 1 shot vodka
- ice
- zest from one lime
Servings: person
Instructions
- Fill a shaker with ice and add all the ingredients except for the lime zest.
- Shake until icy cold and frothy.
- Strain into an ice filled Collins glass and garnish with lime zest.
Looks great, but I would use vanilla vodka. Yum.
You’re going to love this week’s Food Schmooze, then. (March 17, 2016). Anthony makes a Lemon Meringue Cocktail with vanilla vodka. He shakes one up on air. Don’t miss it! But if you do, catch up on any episode here: https://foodschmooze.org/series/food-schmooze/. Thanks for listening, Rebecca.
