Faith starts the show with a special announcement and reminisces with her food buddies about favorite past shows and guests. Then, Faith and the gang get grilling tips and techniques from grill master Jamie Purviance. Jamie’s latest book is Weber’s Ultimate Grilling. For newbie grillers, we’ll start with some basics, and work our way up. Think: weeknight steak and chicken recipes, plus a grilled banana split for dessert. Grill tips galore!

Dear Faith,
You are a national treasure. Thank you so much for sharing your passion and your heart with us. Your interview style makes it all seem so effortless, but we know how hard you’ve worked for so many years to bring us the best of the best. Actually, it isn’t an interview style at all, it’s just who you are. Your warmth makes us all feel as though we’re close friends; the kind who just might walk in our front door when the show is over. Oh, if only! Enjoy your time away from the spotlight. I can’t wait to hear what’s next! With great appreciation for your work and your humanity, Adrienne Macdonald
Oh no! Say it ain’t so! You are truly going to be missed. Please enjoy the next chapter and be kind to yourself always!
For 36 years, before podcasts, I can hear my mother’s voice now, commanding “SHHHHHHH” because we needed to jot grocery list notes! Our meaningful store, The Brattleboro Coop was 12 miles from home at that time, when we lived in Newfane VT for a stint, and she was taking a break from nursing, comforting herself by cooking gorgeous gourmet meals. We only had one chance to get our notes right, while listening to NPR. You launched your program the same year I got my driver’s license, and bought my 1st little Mazda GLC. I saw you this Fall, 36 years later at Woodbury Barns and Farms. I wanted to tell you then, at that moment how much you meant to my family, yet you were enjoying a tour by Michael and Jonathan; Woodbury Barns and Farms new, gracious, hospitable, gatekeepers / owners. Bottomline: You ARE a national treasure. I’m hoping you move to Litchfield County CT.
Such a pleasure to listen to all of your shows for so many years. Thanks so much for sharing your kindness and love of food. Cheers to you! -Kim(now living in Sarasota, FL..)
