VIDEO: Our Favorite Wines for the 2016 Holiday Season

Whether you’re hosting guests for the holidays or you’re looking for a holiday-worthy wine to give the host, one (or more!) of our favorite wine picks is bound to help make your holidays a little brighter. Our favorite holiday wines include a $10 Cabernet Sauvignon, the $24 Queen of Beaujolais, and a $20 Spanish red Faith considers a cult wine for its devoted following (Faith buys this one by the case).

In this video, Faith and wine experts Alex Province and Mark Raymond share their selections and explain why the wines pair perfectly with roasted beef tenderloin, turkey, or any centerpiece dish you’re likely to serve for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, or any special-occasion meal.

Learn more about our favorite wines:

• Santa Carolina Cabernet Sauvignon
• Cheysson Crus Beaujolais-Chiroubles
• Museum Real Reserva

One more pour? Watch Faith’s video on how to taste—and really appreciate the nuances of any wine.

Shot on location at the gorgeous Clarke Kitchen Design & Showroom in South Norwalk, Connecticut. Produced by Robyn Doyon-Aitken and the CPTV crew—David Wurtzel (videography and editing), Mike Dunphy (videography), and Larry Roeming (sound).

Greetings and I think I listened to the show on the radio one day before T-day and if I remember there was mention of a Spanish version of a prosecco I would love to know about for the holidays! Great show and you talked about all sorts of fun drinks and lunch bowls on that program…liza

Hi Liza: The gang was referring to Spanish Cava. It’s sparkling wine, very similar to Prosecco and Champagne. . .just from Spain. Your flute won’t know the difference. 😉 You’ll find it anywhere wine is sold. Salud!
